CLEAN BOONDI POTU EVERY FORTNIGHT-TIRUMALA JEO

Tirumala, 11 Jul. 16: The boondi POTU should be henceforth cleaned every fortnight in Tirumala, said Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

The review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala with all HoDs on Monday evening. During the meeting he instructed the health officer Dr Sermista to make arrangements to clean the boondi potu on every full moon and dark moon lunar phases every month.

He later instructed the FMS wing to take up the cleaning of bedsheets and pillows in rest houses with out causing inconvenience to pilgrims.

He also directed the engineering wing to speed up the construction of Seva Sadan building and vakulamata rest house.

As the rainy season is fast approaching he instructed the forest and engineering officials to remove the trees which are posing danger.

All senior officers were present.
