DARSHAN TO COMMENCE BY 11:30am IN SRI TT ON MARCH 9

Tirumala, 8 March 2016: In the wake of solar eclipse on March 9, the darshan of Lord Venkateswara should commence by 11:30 am and the pilgrims should be allowed to sit in the compartments by 9:30 am instructed TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Reviewing with HoDs of various departments of TTD in Annamaiah Bhavan on Tuesday, he said, all the departments should be prepared with their own arrangements while the Annaprasadam in Tarigonda Vengamamba complex should commence by 12 noon, he added. All the lockers should be made available in PACs and there should not be any inconvenience to the pilgrims for accommodation”, he directed the reception officials.

Later he instructed the engineering officials to complete ghat road, papavinasanam repair works before this month end. “The new Rs.300 queue line should have a luggage centre, a cafeteria for the benefit of the pilgrims”, he instructed the concerned. Adding further he said a railing bridge should be also be constructed near chakrateertham for the sake of pilgrims.

He directed the IT wing to prepare the soft ware for cottage sms in a week’s time and also a separate application for Donor Management System.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji and other officers were also present.
