TIRUMALA, APRIL 5:  The monthly Dial Your EO programme on every first friday took place at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala where in TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam attended to the phone calls of various pilgrims from across the country and took their suggestions and complaints for the betterment of the administration. Answering a caller Nagappaswamy from Karnataka who sought TTD to provide prachara ratham, the EO said, TTD is already taking up wide spread Dharma Prachara programmes across the State with prachara rathams(Publicity Vehicle). “We indeed welcome people like you to join hands in this noble task of taking up the Santana Dharma Prachara in the remote areas”, EO added.
 
Taking the call from pilgrim caller Subramayam from Satyavedu, who asked the EO to streamline the harikatha parayana system, the EO said, “Today we have been organising Harikatha Parayanams in almost 1000 places across the State. We are contemplating to train the Harikathakas with the help of renowned Harikatha Paryandars like Dr HS Brahmananda and Sri Simhachala Shastry”.
 
Reacting to the query of Srinivasulu Reddy from Tirupati, the EO welcomed his suggestion to enhance the closing time of the temple doors of Srinivasa Mangapuram from 8.30pm to 9pm during the week ends keeping in view the influx of visiting pilgrims.
 
Answering another query from Nagaraja of Mysore, the EO asserted that TTD will conduct Thyagaraja Aradhanotsavams this year also in a big way under the stewardship of versatile violinist Kumari Kanyakumari. However he said the dates will be announced later.
 
Attending the call of Venkat Reddy from Nellore, the EO said, TTD has already implemented traditional dress code to the Grihastas who are taking part in Arjitha Sevas. “We will definitely look in to this suggestion of implementing the same to all the visting pilgrims but it may take some time”, he added.
 
Earlier in his address to pilgrims, the EO said TTD will be conducting Srinivasa Kalyanams in the State of Kerala for the first time with the joint support of local seva trust. He said, it is a welcoming gesture from the people for the second phase of Subhapradham summer traning classes to the children aged between 15-17years in Hindu Sanatana Dharma, moral values as TTD has received over 16thousand applications from the youth which is five times more than the first phase. “These classes will be from May 12 to 18 and the youth should make use of these classes not only for their good self but also for the good of the society”, he added.
 
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Srinivasa Raju, CVSO Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramesh Reddy, Dy EO Temple Sri C Ramana and other officials were also present.
