TIRUMALA, JUNE 28: Versatile vedic scholar, Ayurvedic exponent Dr. Pratap Dakshinamurthy Dikshitulu on Friday advocated that the students of Vedic fraternity should disseminate the vast knowledge that is embedded in vedas for the good of the entire humanity.

In his special lecture on Vedas in Dharmagiri vedapathashala in Tiumala, he said, the Panchabhutas – five important components of life, execute their work properly only when the Vedic knowledge is imparted in a proper manner. “The Vedas have emphasized that man will be truly human only when he lives up to human values and practices the good life. The Vedas have a universal outlook, embracing all that is noble and sacred. They have taught the principle of samatwa (equality) in respect of everything and proclaimed the concept of oneness”, he added. He appreciated the faculty of Veda Pathashala for imparting vedic knowledge to the students in a systematic manner.

Earlier in his speech TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam said that the students are fortunate to listen to the enchanting lecture of Dr Dikshitulu who is considered to be one of the best vedic gurus in the entire country. He called upon the students to learn and practice the message of Guruji to lead a life of a ethics which is not only important for their good but for the welfare of the society.

The slokas rendered by students from Rig, Yajur, Krishna Yajur, Sukla Yajur, Sama, Adharva vedas, Vaikhanasa, Saiva, Vaishnava, Pancharatra agamas enthralled the audience.

తిరుమల, 28 జూన్‌ 2013 : ఎంతో బలిష్టమైన, శక్తివంతమైన వేదవిజ్ఞానాన్ని అభ్యసించి సనాతన ధర్మ విలువల్ని కాపాడాలని ప్రముఖవేద పండితులు, ఆయుర్వేద విద్వాన్‌ డా|| ప్రతాప్‌ దక్షిణామూర్తి దీక్షితులు వేద విద్యార్థులకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

తిరుమలలోని ధర్మగిరి వేదపాఠశాలలో శుక్రవారంనాడు ఎస్‌.వి ఉన్నత వేదవిద్య అధ్యయన సంస్థ మరియు ధర్మగిరి వేదపాఠశాల సంయుక్త ఆధ్వర్యంలో శ్రీ దీక్షితుల ప్రవచనా కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రకృతిలోని సర్వభూతాలు లయబద్దంగా తమ విధులను సక్రమంగా నిర్వర్థించాలంటే వేదవిద్వత్తు సక్రియగా ప్రభోదించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు. వేదాలనేవి కేవలం విజ్ఞానాన్ని సముపార్జించే శాస్త్రాలు మాత్రమే కావని జనజీవనానికి ఉపయుక్తంగా మలచుకొనే సాధనాలని ఆయన తెలిపారు. వైదిక విద్యను అధ్యయనం చేసి లోకోపకారానికి ఉపయోగించిననాడే వేద విద్య సార్థకత చెందుతుందని శ్రీ దీక్షితులు అన్నారు. తిరుమల ధర్మగిరి వేదపాఠశాలలో వేదవిద్యా భోదన సవిధంగా జరుగుతున్నదని ఆయన ప్రశంసించారు.

అంతకుపూర్వం తి.తి.దే ఇ.ఓ శ్రీ ఎల్‌.వి సుబ్రహ్మణ్యం మాట్లాడుతూ విజనామ సంవత్సరం యావత్తూ గురుపూజ్యవత్సరంగా పేర్కొనబడిందన్నారు. గురుకృప లభించినప్పుడు సాధించలేనిది ఏమిలేదన్నారు. అంతటి అత్యున్నత స్థితిని మన సనాతన ధర్మం గురువుకు కల్పించిందన్నారు. వేదవేదాంగ విశారదులైన శ్రీ దక్షిణామూర్తి దీక్షితులు వంటి గురు సర్వోత్తములు నేడు వేదపాఠశాలకు రావడం విశేషమన్నారు. గత 130 ఏళ్ళలో ధర్మగిరి వేదపాఠశాల నుండి ఎందరో విద్యార్థులు వేదవాజ్మయాన్ని నేర్చి నేడు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా సనాతనధర్మ విలువల్ని కాపాడుతున్నారన్నారు.

అంతకు పూర్వం వేదవిద్యార్థులు ఋగ్వేదం, కృష్ణయజుర్వేదం, శుక్ల యజుర్వేదం తైత్తరీయశాఖలోని పంచకాటకాలు, సామవేదం, అదర్వవేదం, శైవాగమం, వైష్ణవాగమం, పాంచరాత్ర ఆగమం మొదలైన శాఖలలోని మంత్ర పుష్పాలను నివేదించారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో తి.తి.దే తిరుపతి జె.ఇ.ఓ శ్రీ వెంకటరామిరెడ్డి, వేదపాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాలు శ్రీ అవధాని, ఉన్నత వేదవిద్య అధ్యయన శాఖ ప్రత్యేకాధికారి శ్రీ విభీషణశర్మ ఇతర అధికారులు, వేదఆధ్యాపకులు, విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
