DIVYA DARSHAN COMPLEX FOR THE COMFORT OF PEDESTRIAN PILGRIMS-TTD BOARD CHIEF
SARVA DARSHAN COMPLEX SOON-TTD EO
Tirumala, 1 November 2016: The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati DEVASTHANAMS (TTD) is committed to provide best possible services to its multitude of visiting pilgrims and the Divya Darshanam Complex is aimed at providing comfort exclusively to pedestrian pilgrims, said TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy.
The TTD board chief inaugurated the massive Divya Darshanam Complex built at a cost of Rs.2.23cr on Tuesday in Tirumala for the sake of the pedestrian pilgrims. Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman said, the complex has all facilities including luggage counters, supply of beverages and snacks for the pilgrims who come all the way to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara on foot through Alipiri and Srivari Mettu footpath routes. “This complex will provide them a comfortable environment till their turn for darshan”, he expressed.
Later TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, after receiving overwhelming response from the pilgrims in Seeghra Darshan Complex, the management has decided to construct similar one for pedestrian pilgrims too. “In near future we will plan similar waiting complex with all comforts even to sarva darshan(free darshan) pilgrims also”, he asserted.
