DONATION OF TWO BUSES TO TTD
Tirumala, 2 July 2016: A philanthropist from Kolkata Sri Prakash Choudhary has donated Two buses for convenience of devotees coming to Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.
The Joint Executive Officer Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju received the gifts from the donor infront of the Srivari Temple in Tirumala on saturday morning.
It is well known that the TTD has operating a fleet of free buses for benefit of pilgrims both at Tirupati and also at Tirumala. Recently it bought chasis of two buses at a cost of Rs.29 lakhs from Ashok Leyland and Sri Prakash Choudhary of Kolkatta had done the body building of the buses as per the TTD designs at a cost of Rs.25 lakhs.
Pujas were performed for the colorfully decorated and freshly painted buses in front of the temple and later added to the fleet of the TTD operating free bus services in the hill shrine.
GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy and other senior officials participated.
