DONATIONS POUR IN FOR TTD _ ఎస్వీ అన్న‌ప్ర‌సాదానికి రూ.1.75 కోట్లు విరాళం

Tirumala, 13 Dec. 19: Along with the increase in day by day pilgrim crowd thronging Tirumala and with the spread of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti cult across the globe, the donations are pouring in for the various trusts of TTD.

On Friday itself donations to the tune of 1.75crores have been poured in for Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust of TTD. All the donors have handed over the DDs of the respective donations to TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday.

Speaking on this occasion, the Addnl.EO said, it is in fact a kind gesture from the donors who have been contributing to the Annaprasadam Trust of TTD with a noble intention to do their bit to the massive Annaprasadam programme that is being carried out by TTD every day in Tirumala where in nearly one lakh pilgrims have free Annaprasadam.

Among the donors who did the largesse, a NRI devotee from America, Sri S Venkat has donated Rs.1,05,06,500 (Rupees one crore five lakhs six thousand and five hundreds) to Annaprasadam Trust of TTD while Sri Sanjay Goyal, CMD of Nectar Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical company from Chandigarh has donated Rs.51lakhs and Sri Gummadi Venkateswara Rao, the President of AP Rice Millers Association has contributed Rs.10lakhs for the Trust.

Apart from these donations, the Additional EO has said, that a devotee of Lord Venkateswara, who does not want to reveal his identity has given his consent to donate the amount towards the Melchat Vastrams for three years, which is estimated as approximately Rs.1.20crores.
