DRY FRUIT GARLANDS MARK 1st DAY OF SNAPANA TIRUMANJANAM INSIDE SRIVARI TEMPLE_ డ్రైఫ్రూట్ల మాలలతో శోభాయమానంగా స్పపనతిరుమంజనం

Tirumala, 24 September 2017: Garlands made of Apricon, dry grapes,amla, yelakkai, yellow rose petal and other dry fruits marked the splendor and grandeur of the Sanapana Thirumanjanam event of salakatla Thirumanjanam inside the Srivari Temple this afternoon.

As Vedic exponents chanted sentinel sections of Yajurveda the chief Agama advisor Venugopala Dikshitulu rendered the ritual in the presence of the Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyars and senior TTD officials.The Nada swaram team led by venkateswarlu presented the Gaurgol,(blaring of cow), Tiruchur-nal (trumpeting of elephant) and the chinna-dol (small drum (said to be very dear to Lord Venkteswara.

The dry fruit decorations showcased at the Thirumanjanam during the 2nd day of the Brahmotsavam. As a round canopy of red, white and yellow roses hoovered over the utsava idols of Lord Malayappaswamy and his consorts at the Rangayakula mandapam VIPs and officials sat below a canopy of green leaves, fruits and flowers created for the event over 00 feet space of the mantapam.

Besides dry fruit garlands,the deities were adorned with keeritam made of tulasi,dry fruits and were worn in Mysore turban style ornate with jewels and diamonds for the celestial event.

Bokkasam incharge superintendent Sri Gururaja Rao said vedic pundits recited sentinel verses from Yajurveda, comprising of Purusha Sukti, Sree sukti etc as the utasava idols were bathed in water,milk,curd, honey, coconut water, sandal, turmeric, tulasi leaves and panchatheertham and also sandal paste.

Commenting on the snapana Thirumanjanam, Kankana Bhattar Sri Venugopala dikshitulu said that during every major festivals the snapana thirumanjanam before all vahana sevas was performed to the utsava idols at Srivari Temple in or to enhance the divine charm of the deity for benefit of the devotees so that they received boons from Lord Venkateswara. The ritual was performed thrice during the Brahmotsavam,Second, third and fourth day so that pilgrims who came in lakhs benefited, he added.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao and others took part.

సెప్టెంబర్‌ 24, తిరుమల 2017: శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా ఆదివారం శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో డ్రైఫ్రూట్లు, పసుపురంగు రోజామాలల అలంకారంతో స్నపనతిరుమంజనం శోభాయమానంగా జరిగింది. ఆలయంలోని రంగనాయకుల మండపంలో జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో వివిధ రకాల ఫలాలు, పుష్పాలతో స్వామి, అమ్మవార్ల ఉత్సవమూర్తులను అందంగా అలంకరించారు.

ఆప్రికార్న్‌, ఎండుద్రాక్ష, ఉసిరి, యాలకులు తదితర డ్రైఫ్లూట్లు, రోజామాలలతో శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీమలయప్పస్వామివారి ఉత్సవమూర్తులను అలంకరించారు. వివిధ రంగుల పుష్పాలు, ఫలాలు, సాంబ్రాణి, ధూపదీప నైవేద్యాల నడుమ రంగనాయకుల మండపం నూతనత్వాన్ని సంతరించుకుంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, చందనం, పసుపు కొబ్బరినీళ్లు తదితర సుగంధద్రవ్యాలతో విశేషంగా అభిషేకం చేశారు. వేదపండితులు చతుర్వేదపారాయణం ఆలపించారు. బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల సమయంలో వాహనసేవల్లో తిరువీధుల్లో ఊరేగి అలసిపోయే స్వామివారు స్నపనతిరుమంజనంతో సేద తీరుతారని ఆలయ అర్చకులు తెలిపారు. శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ పెద్దజీయంగార్‌ పర్యవేక్షణలో కంకణభట్టర్‌ శ్రీ వేణుగోపాలదీక్షితులు ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఈ కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది.
