“DWADASA JYOTHIRLINGAS” SET ATTRACTS DEVOTEES

Tirupati, 16 February 2015: The denizens of Tirupati had an unconventional feeling of having seen all the Dwadasa Jyothirlingas in the ancient temple of Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple, since the settings displayed by TTD Garden wing has been attracting tens of thousands of devotees in the temple premises.
For the first time, the garden wing of TTD has come out with a novel idea of erecting a huge image of Lord Shiva in a meditating pose in the centre surrounded by the “Dwadasa Jyothirlingas” which have been immensely attracting the pilgrim devotees. The “Yoga Mudra” of “Dhyaneshwara” stood out as a special attraction in the expo. He was surrounded by Twelve jyothirlinga includes Somnath in Gujarat, Mallikarjuna at Srisailam in Andra Pradesh, Mahakaleswar at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, Omkareshwar in MadhyaPradesh, Kedarnath in Himalayas, BhimaShankar in Maharashtra, Viswanath at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Triambakeshwar in Maharashtra, Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga at Deogarh in Jharkhand , Aundha Nagnath at AundhaNagnath in Maharashtra, Rameshwar at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu and Grishneshwar at Ellora near Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

The devotees were thrilled to see the different forms of Lingas at one place and experience the divine feel as if they had darshan of Dwadasa Jyotirlingas as one go and appreciated the novel idea of TTD.
