ELABORATE ANNAPRASADAM ARRANGEMENTS BY TTD

Tirumala, 10 April, 17: All roads lead to Tumburu Teertham since the early hours of Monday as tens of thousands devotees made it to this famous Teertham located in the deep woods of seshachalam ranges in Tirumala.

The hectic day of pilgrim devout started in the wee hours on Monday and TTD has made elaborate arrangements to provide Annaprasadam and water to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.

Each devotee was served with a bag containing two pulihora, one curd rice, butter milk and four water sachets which were distributed at the mouth of Papavinasanam dam enroute to Tumburu Teertham. Srivari Seva volunteers were deployed from Monday morning 5 am till Tuesday to serve food and water to pilgrims.

While the Radio and Broad casting department has made announcements at regular intervals about the care to be taken while trekking the tedious path.

On the other hand TTD vigilance along with police and forest departments made elaborate security arrangements.

Assistant Catering Officer Sri Achutaprahu supervised the Annaprasadam arrangements. The devotees expressed immense satisfaction over the arrangements of food and water by TTD.
