Appalayagunta, 6 May 2015: Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar called upon the officials to make elaborate arrangements for the annual mega religious fete of brahmotsavams in the famous and ancient temple of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy in Appalayagunta which are set to commence from 30th of May.

Reviewing the arrangements with HoDs of various departments in the temple on Wednesday, the JEO has instructed the engineering officials to erect permanent structures for queue line management. He also asked them to increase the height of the pandals so that it will not cause any inconvenience during the movement of celestial vehicles.

Later he instructed the Vigilance officials to make tight security arrangements during the important events like Dhwajarohanam, Kalyotsavam, Garuda Seva, Rathotsavam and Chakrasnanam which occurs on May 30th, June 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th respectively. He asked the vigilance officer to utilise the services of scouts and guides and srivari sevakulu for pilgrim crowd management.

He also directed the HDPP wing to come out with attractive cultural programmes like Burrakatha, Tolu Bommalata, Harikatha etc. to entertain the pilgirms.

The JEO has given instructions to the electrical wing and garden departments to erect electrical illuminations and floral dioramas with unique religious concepts to match the occasion in a big way.

Later JEO also released the posters of the annual brahmotsavams of Sri Venugopala Swamy temple in Karvetinagaram which are scheduled from 11th May to 19th May with Ankurarpanam on May 10.

Special Grade Deputy EO Smt Chenchulakshmi, VGO Sri Ravinder Reddy, SE III Sri Sudhakar Reddy, DyEOs Sri Bhupathi Reddy, Smt Sharada, Sri Dhananjayulu, EE Sri Jagadishwar Reddy, Dairy Farm Director Dr Harinath Reddy and other officials were also present.
