ELETRIFICATION ENHANCES GLORY AND GLITTERY OF BTU AT TIRUCHANOOR

Tiruchanoor, 2 December 2016: The electrical arches, display of mythological episodes and electrical lining of Padmavathi temple and other establishments at Tiruchanoor as part of the ongoing Kartheeka Brahmotsavam at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple have highlighted the glory and glittery of the 9 day annual festival.

TTD Electrical Engineering department set up 43 electrical installations on a war footing to enhance the devotional fervor and spiritual flavour to the mystic and celestial event.

They also did the electrical outlining of the Vahana mandapam, PAT, Asthana Mandapam, Mada streets, besides arches electrification all along the road from Ramanuja circle to PAT to enhance the festive revelry in Tirupati.

Prominent among the electrical bill boards were Dashavataram, Astha lakshmi’s, Standing Padmavathi, Sri Maha Vishnu, Lakshmi devi, Mandapam Ammavaru, Surya bhagavan, Sri Venkateswara-Padmavathi, Nija swaroop Krishna, Lakshmana, Anjaneya and vinayaka. They also put up huge bill boards of Gurutantmudu, Battery of Horses. Besides the cut outs they also organised halogen lighting to highlight the jewellery and glittery of the utsava idols on vahanas.

The 70×55 feet Gomata cutout near the PAT panchayat office was a major hit with devotees. The cut out included the portraits of 30 deitie. Similarly another 30×60 feet cut out of Surya Bhagavan near Pushkarini and 20 x 38 feet Lakshmidevi cut out near the south Mada received the all round praise of devotees. The LED cut out on the theme of Geetopadesam was also attracted the devotees.

For the first the TTD electrical wing introduced colour changing lights in the PAT brahmotsavam for the first time. They were set up at the Vahana mandapam enthralling the devotees with a spectacle of colors behind the deity as the vahana moved out.

Arches and lighting was also organised on the Ramanuja circle to Tiruchanoor fly over, PAT premises, Shilparamam to PAT. A thirty member staff worked on the electrifications and that the entire arrangements were made with low power consuming LED bulbs says SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarlu and DE Sri Ravi Shankar Reddy.
