EMINENT CHILD ARTISTES TO RENDER ANNAMAIAH KEERTANS ON NOVEMBER 23-TIRUPATI JEO
Tiruchanur, 22 November 2014: Eminent child vocalists who won the hearts of millions of music lovers across the world with their extraordinary talent in various musical platforms will render Annamacharya Kritis on Sunday evening at Asthana Mandapam in Tiruchanoor, said TTD Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.
Addressing media persons at Tiruchanoor on Saturday evening, the JEO said, TTD has developed the SV Recording project recently with an noble aim to record rare keertans of Annamacharya. “We have categorised the recordings in three-with children, youth and eminent musicians. Every day there will be recordings between 8am to 8pm in two phases and we are successfully carrying out this mission”, he maintained.
Meanwhile seven child artistes who are eminent vocalists have been invited to perform for Gaja Vahana seva. Their musical concert will take place on Sunday between 7pm to 8pm at Asthana Mandapam under the guidance of Sri Salluri Vasu Rao.
Later SV Recording Project Director (FAC) Sri Munirathnam Reddy said, SV Recording Project is divided into two as SV Recording Project to carry out the recordings of Annamaiah Keertans exclusively and SV Veda Project to record vedic hymns. We have been carrying out 12-hour recording every day. So far we have recorded only 1400 keertans of Annamacharya. Now we have identified 5000 odd songs and composing music for these songs with our Asthana Vidhwan Sri G Balakrishna Prasad and other stalwarts of carnatic music. We are also of the view to release these CDs in market every month”, he maintained.
