SRIVARI LAKSHMI KASULA HARAM TO ADORN GODDESS PADMAVATHI

TIRUMALA, NOV 22: One of the most valuable and charming jewels in the treasury of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala, “Lakshmi Kasula Haram”, will be decorated to Goddess Padmavathi Devi on Sunday evening on the occasion of Gaja Vahana Seva.

This precious jewel bearing 500 Lakshmi Kasulu(coins with the impression of Sri Mahalakshmi image) with four rows, is usually decorated to Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy during Garuda Seva. The same ornament will adorn His beloved Goddess Padmavathi Devi as a part of the ongoing Karthika Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor.

The jewel will be brought from the Srivari temple on Golden Tiruchi by 10.30am to Vahana Mandapam on Sunday morning and later brought to Tiruchanoor temple in a vehicle amidst tight security. The temple officials and priests will later decorate this jewel to the processional deity of Goddess Padmavathi Devi who takes pleasure ride on Her favourite vehicle Gaja Vahanam on Sunday evening.
