“ENHANCE TRANSPARENCY IN ACCOMMODATION ALLOTMENT IN TIRUPATI ALSO”-TTD EO

Tirupati, 11 May 2015: TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao instructed the officials to implement the same methodology of allotting accommodation on first come first basis to the pilgrims in Tirupati also on the lines of Tirumala which yielded fruitful results.

Reviewing with senior officers on various developmental programmes during the weekly officers meeting in his chambers in TTD Administrative building on Monday, he said the occupancy ratio in Madhavam, Srinivasam and Vishnu Nivasam complexes need to be enhanced as in Tirumala by adopting transparent system-oriented techniques for the benefit of multitude of visiting pilgrims.

Later the EO asked the concerned to come out with an action plan to plant useful plantation in the 450acres of Land near Palamaner where TTD is going to set up a massive dairy farm. He also directed the DFO and TTD Garden Deputy Director to plant unique variety of plants that will enhance the beauty of Tirumala premises.

He had directed the Annaprasadam Deputy Sri Venugopal to distribute buttermilk at Galigopuram for the pedestrian pilgrims.

Sri Samba Siva Rao instructed the Engineering wing to complete the second ghat road works before June 15 and PAC II renovation works by this month end. He also asked them to see the possibility of erecting best quality of LED street lights by negotiating with the concerned companies as a part of beautification of Tirumala and Tirupati.

The EO also directed the Sri Padmavathi temple Sp Gr Dy EO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi to come out with a plan to see that the darshan to the pilgrims in the Ammavaru temple is completed within half an hour.
