TIRUMALA, 22 Mar. 16: Every department should gear up in the best possible manner to give enhanced services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims during the summer vacation, directed TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao.

Reviewing with the HoDs of various departments in Tirumala at Annamaiah Bhavan on Tuesday evening, the EO instructed the departments to give their best and stand up to the expectations of the pilgrims with their services.

“Especially the Temple, Annaprasadam, Health, Laddu, Vigilance, Kalyanakatta, medical departments should put their extra efforts in offering services to pilgrims”, he added

NO VIP DARSHAN ON FRIDAYS DURING SUMMER

As heavy influx of pilgrims would be witnessed during the summer vacation, the EO instructed the temple wing to cancel VIP break on Fridays except for protocol VIPs and cancel morning slot darshan to aged and Physically challenged pilgrims from April 15 tillJune 30.

ON ENGINEERING WORKS:

The EO instructed the engineering wing to complete all the pending works before April 15 including civil, electrical, erection of new Jalaprasadam units etc.

SIX LAKHS BUFFER STOCK OF LADDUS

In view of the heavy rush anticipated for Summer, the EO instructed the Potu officials to keep hold of buffer stock of six lakh laddus.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy and other officers were also present.
