MALAYAPPA TAKES CELESTIAL RIDE ON TEPPA

Tirumala, 22 Mar. 16: The processional deity of Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy along with His two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi took celestial ride on the finely decked float in Swami Pushkarini on Tuesday evening.

On the fourth day, the deities took five rounds in the spacious temple tank floating delightfully on the waves to rhythm of vedic hymns and melody of Annamacharya Kritis.

It was a visual treat to the multitude of pilgrims who converged inside the Swamy Pushkarini to catch the glimpse of lord and his consorts on the tastefully decorated Teppa.
