EO INSPECTS FLOUR MILL AND GAS PLANT IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 22 February 2015: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Sunday made surprise visits Ttd flour mill and gas plant in Tirumala and observed their function.

In the flour mill he visited the laboratory and enquired about the mode of sample test being done to food items, laddu prasadams, Anna prasadams, water etc. Lab Analyst Sri Srinivasa Dixitulu explained to him about the sample collection and process. The EO instructed the officials concerned not to compromise on the quality of food materials and also adopt advanced system of analysis for more accurate and speedy results.

Later he visited the gas plant located in Papavinasanam road besides Garden Department. The staff explained him about the supply of gas from the three mammoth gas bullets located in the plant through hedder(supply machine) which has automatic mechanism. AEO Potu Sri Kesava Raju explained to EO that nearly 3,500 tons of gas is being supplied only to Annaprasada Bhavan and Tirumala temple alone every day to make annaprasadams and laddu prasadams respectively.
