“FOCUS ON MORE RESEARCH WORKS FROM ALWAR PROJECT”-TTD EO

TIRUMALA, FEB 22: Ttd EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao said that focus will be laid on bringing more and more publications and research works from Alwar Divya Prabandha Project.

The EO took part in 961 Avatarotsavam of Sri Anantalwar, the great Saint and renowned disciple of Sri Ramanujacharya in Purasaivaritota in Tirumala on Sunday.

Speaking on this occasion, the EO said Anantalwar pioneered pushpakainkarya in Tirumala following the directions of his Guru Sri Ramanujacharya with devotion and dedication. “He remained a standing example for all of us to receive the blessings of Lord by discharging our duties with utmost devotion and perfection. “In the years to come we will focus more on bringing out the great works of always in the form of translations, publications, research papers etc. We will also provide a scholarship amount of Rs.10thousands per month for three students for three years who take up research works on Alwars” , he maintained.

Later Tirupati Jeo Sri Pola Bhaskar said, Ttd is contemplating to observe Anantalwar Jayanthi in his native place of Chiruputtur in Mysore of Karnataka on his birth star.

Meanwhile Tirumala Pedda Jiyar and Chinna Jiyar swamijis delivered Anugraha Bhashanam on this auspicious occasion. Over 400 Anantalwar descendants hailing from across the country took part in Nalayira Divya Prabandha Gosthi Ganam rendered on this occasion.
