EO INSPECTS PAC II
TIRUMALA, APRIL 8: As the summer vacation is fast approaching, keeping in view the summer pilgrim rush, TTD EO Sri MG Gopal inspected the arrangements in Tirumala along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Tuesday.
After taking part in the Sanapana Tirumanjanam on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, TTD EO inspected the Ramabhageecha Fourmada lane, PAC II complex where annaprasadams are prepared for the pilgrims. He asked the srivari sevaks who are rendering services in the four mada streets to be more attentive and bring awareness among the pilgrims not to walk or wander in the four mada lanes wearing shoes and chappals as the procession of Lord takes place in the streets and the area is considered to be pious.
Later he paved visit to PAC II Madhavanilayam Annaprasadam canteen where food is prepared for the pilgrims. Later speaking to media persons he said, with an aim to provide much tastier and healthier food to the multitude of visiting pilgrims, it has been decided to prepare annaprasadams at one centralised point in Tarigonda Annaprasadam complex alone instead of preparing food at Madhava Nilayam, SV Guest House canteen etc. “If there is heavy influx of pilgrims at times, then the food can be prepared even in these centre”, he added.
JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, DyEO Sri Venugopal, Catering Officer Sri Sastry, SE Sri Ramesh Reddy, DE Sri Ravishankar Reddy, EE Sri Narasimha Murthy and others were present.
