SRIRAMA NAVAMI ASTANAM PERFORMED WITH RELIGIOUS GRANDEUR IN SRI KODANDA RAMA SWAMY TEMPLE AT TIRUPATI

TIRUPATI, APRIL 8:  The temple city of Tirupati echoed with the chanting of “Rama Nama” on the festive day of Sri Rama Navami on Tuesday and the temple court-“Asthanam” has been performed with religious splendour in the TTD sub shrine of Sri Venkata Kodanda Rama Swamy temple.

Earlier in the morning Sanapana Tirumanjanam – celestial bath with aromatic ingredients including sandal paste, panneer etc. has been performed to the utsava murthies in the temple. In the after noon “Astanam-the temple court” has been performed with religious fervour.

The entire temple has been decked up with floral pandals, decorations and light illuminations to make the occasion look great.

A pocket book on the history of the temple penned by Sri Julukanti Balasubrahmanyam has been released by TTD Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.

TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, Deputy EO Sri Harnath and other temple staffs were also present.
