ADD NEW DISHES FOR PILGRIMS IN MENU CHART-TTD EO

HELP LINE NUMBER FOR FOOT PATH PILGRIMS

TIRUMALA, 19 April 2016: With just few days left for the beginning of summer vacation, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao reviewed on the arrangements made by various departments to meet the summer pilgrim rush.

The review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday. TTD EO instructed all the departments to serve the pilgrims with more efficiency in their respective areas as heavy pilgrim influx across the country is been anticipated during summer vacation.

SERVE NEW MENU:

The TTD administrative chief instructed Special Grade DyEO of Annaprasadam Smt Chenchu Lakshmi to work out on the introduction of new menu. “Especially between 9am to 11am and 9pm to 11pm, plan to serve snacks or light meals instead of serving annaprasadams for routine”, he added. He also instructed the officer to keep ready butter milk packets especially to distribute in the footpaths for the sake of pedestrian pilgrims as the temperatures are soaring high. “During week days keep stock of 40 thousand packets and in week ends over 50 thousand butter milk packets as they will provide relief to the pilgrims. This should commence from April 20 on wards”, he noted.

EXECUTE PILGRIM DARSHAN WITH CONCRETE ACTION PLAN

The TTD EO also instructed the temple DyEO Sri Kodanda Rama Rao to sketch out an action plan to release the compartments with efficiency and without any delay.

HELP LINE NUMBER TO PEDESTRIAN PILGRIMS

With a noble aim to address the problems encountered by footpath pilgrims if any, the EO has instructed the Vigilance wing of TTD to provide Help Line number in both the ghat roads. “Also deploy vigilance sleuths for every 200 steps and sulabh worker for every 75 steps on both foot path routes”, he instructed the concerned.

ORS PACKETS AND WATER SUPPLY

The EO also instructed the Chief Medical Officer Dr N Vikas, Health officer Dr Sermista to keep ready ORS sachets and supply uninterrupted water services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.

SECOND GHAT ROAD BY APRIL 25

The EO instructed the Engineering wing to complete the second ghat road renovation works by April 25 as the pilgrim rush is expected increase by this week end.

JEO Tirumala Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Vigilance officials Sri Ravinder Reddy, Smt Vimala Kumari, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy and other officers were also present.
