EO TAKES PART IN 124TH JAYANTI OF SRI SRI SRI CHANDRASEKHARA SARASWATHI SWAMI

Kanchipuram, 8 June 2017: TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal on Thursday took part in the 124th Jayanthi celebrations of the most revered pontiff of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Sri Sri Sri Chandrasekhara Saraswathi Swami in Kanchipuram.

The chief of TTD first paved respects to HH Sri Chandrasekhara Saraswathi Brindavan in Kanchi Mutt and later offered the prasadams of Lord Venkateswara to the present pontiff of the most revered ancient mutt Sri Jayendra Saraswathi and took his blessings.

As 68th Swami of Kanchipeetham, Sri Chandrasekhara Saraswathi was one of the most venerated Hindu leaders of 20th century, and pioneered many temples and Vedic schools under his stewardship. He was an exemplary monk who preserved the prestine glory of Vedas through his extempore discourses.
