LORD MALAYAPPASWAMY ADORNED WITH MUTHANGI ALANKARAM

Tirumala, 8 Jun. 17: On second day on ongoing three day Annual Jyesthabhishekam in Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala, the temple priest performed Snapana Tirumanjanam (celestial bath) to the processional dieties of Lord Malayapaswamy and His consorts admist vedic hymns at Sampangi Prakaram inside Srivari Temple on Thursday.

Later in the evening Processional deity of Lord Malayappaswamy along with His consorts adorned with Muthangialankaram (famous pearl-studded armour) were taken out in procession around made streets.

TTD EO Sri Anik kumar Singhal, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Deputy EO Temple Sri Rama Rao, Parupattedar Sri Ramachandra and other officers took part in the festival.
