EO VISITS CHANDRAGIRI RAMALAYAM

Tirupati, 25 September 2015: On his way back to Tirupati from Kanipakam, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao also paved visit to the newly taken over ancient Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple located in Chandragiri town on Friday.

It may be recalled that this 500-year old temple was merged into TTD a couple of days ago in a ceremonious manner. The uniqueness of this temple is that Lord Sri Rama will be sharing the platform along with His consort Sita Devi and brothers Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrughna flanked by his noble aids Hanuman and Garuda on either sides on “Eka Peetham”.

TTD EO said, TTD will develop this temple in every best possible manner as preserving and protecting ancient temples is also one of our important noble tasks”, he observed.
