TIRUMALA SET FOR TWIN RELIGIOUS EVENTS

TIRUMALA, SEPT.25: It’s been just couple of days since the completion of annual Brahmotsavams and now the hill shrine is geared up to observed twin religious events on September 27 and 28 consecutively.

As per the temple history every day is a festival day in hill town of Tirumala and there is no exaggeration that in a year about 450 festivals including daily, weekly, monthly, annual festivals are being observed.

On September 27, in view of Ananta Padmanabha Vratam, one of the auspicious events in all Sri Vaishnavaite temples across the country, TTD also celebrates this festival with religious fervour on Bhadrapada Sukla Chaturdasi by performing Chakrasnanam to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar in Swami Pushkarini on the same day morning between 6am to 7am.

While the next day, September 28, being a full moon day, the processional deity of Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy is all set to give feast to the eyes of devotees yet again on Garuda Vahana between 7pm to 9pm on Monday evening.
