EVERY PILGRIM SHOULD GET RO WATER-TTD EO

Tirupati, 27 February 2017: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao asserted that every pilgrim visiting Tirupati and Tirumala should be provided with purified water and a RO plant should be set up at central bus stand in Tirupati.

During the weekly review meeting in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday, the EO said, apart from RTC bus stand similar plants should be set up in pilgrim influx areas including Govinda Raja Swamy 2 and 3 chowltries.

As the annual brahmotsavams in Vontimitta are fast approaching, he instructed the JEO Tirupati Sri P Bhaskar to constitute a high level committee and make necessary arrangements for the big fete.

He instructed the engineering wing to construct dress change rooms in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple for the convenience of devotees after taking bath. Similarly he asked them to chalk out an action plan to make use of the vacant land available near Nammalwar temple premises in Sri KT.

As the annual brahmotsavams in Upamaka are scheduled from March 7-15, the arrangements should be made accordingly and especially as the Kalyanotsavam is being witnessed by tens of thousands of devotees, necessary Annaprasadam arrangements should be made, the EO instructed the concerned.

He directed TTD PRO, Dr T Ravi to display stickers in all the 5000 odd APT online centres regarding the online booking of Rs.300 tickets for the information of public. He also instructed the HDPP wing to distribute Sapthagiri magazines to waiting pilgrims in VQC at Tirumala.

HDPP Secretary Sri N Muktheswara Rao, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, DLO Sri Venkatramana and others were also present.
