“EXEMPTION TO TIRUMALA DEPOT FROM APSRTC STRIKE”- APSRTC UNION LEADERS
Tirupati, 6 May 2015: The union leaders of APSRTC assured TTD management that they exempt Tirumala depot buses from APSRTC strike keeping in view the necessity and safety of pilgrims visiting Tirumala.
In a high level meeting held at EO chamber’s in TTD Administrative building in Tirupati on Wednesday evening with the union leaders of APSRTC, the TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao sought the APSRTC union leaders to see that devotees are not put to inconvenience due to their strike.
Heeding to the request of TTD top brass officials, the union leaders said they will exempt Tirumala depot from APSRTC strike. “All the 110 buses belonging to Tirumala depot will ply between Tirumala and Tirupati without causing any problem or inconvenience to pilgrims”, they maintained.
TTD EO and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju thanked the union leaders for their gesture.
General Manager of Transport wing of TTD Sri Sesha Reddy, DSP Sri Ravishankar Reddy, RTC Deputy Chief Traffic Officer Sri Chengal Reddy, APSRTC union leaders Sri Prakash, Sri Prabhakar, Sri Purushottam, Sri Parasuram, Sri PC Babu,
