FALSE ALARM ON SPOILED LADDU- SAYS POTU AEO SRI ASHOK

Tirumala, 20 October 2015: TTD today denied that there was any supply of spoiled Laddu prasadam (150 laddus) in the supply distributed yesterday to devotees.

TTD assistant executive officer Sri Ashok told reporters today that the said sample was checked and subjected to lab testing by the TTD health officer and the same were certified as ‘ non fungus’ not spoiled and in good condition for sale.

He appealed to all concerned,including media to approach the Potu office for any clarification on any such instances of report of spoiled laddu supply at the laddu prasadam counters.

Intervening in the meeting the TTD DEO,(Temple) Sri C Ramana said there was no substance in the criticism that laddu was very soft and not good for eating as the sample testing has provided that everything was in order.
