14 VARIETIES OF VEGGIES TO DELIGHT PILGRIMS AT ANNAPRASADAM COMPLEX
TIRUMALA, 02 SEPTEMBER 2021: While appreciating the impeccable services of Vegetable donors to the millions and millions of devotees Sri Venkateswara Swamy in the form of vegetable donations to free Annaprasadam activity of TTD, the Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy urged them to concentrate and lay focus in encouraging Natural Organic Farming technique especially with Desi Cow products to grow chemical-free vegetables.
Speaking to vegetable donors at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Thursday, the Additional EO extended warm gratitude to all the 14 vegetable donors who hailed from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karanataka who graced the meeting. The Additional EO said the vegetable donors have been donating Vegetables worth lakhs of rupees every month to Mathrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex (MTVAC), at Tirumala without any interruption since 2004.
The practice of honouring the vegetable donors for their contributions once in a year before the annual brahmotsavams at Tirumala by TTD commenced from 2014 onwards.
TTD has now decided to serve more varieties of curries with tasty delicacies to visiting pilgrims, with different menus in both morning and evening. He sought the Vegetable donors to supply the vegetables as per the menu requested by the Annaprasadam wing of TTD. As of today, 90 units including 56 units in the morning and 34 units in the Night meals are being prepared per day at MTVAC to prepare curries, sambar and rasam (One unit is equal to serving 250 pilgrims). To meet this requirement as per the present-day needs, the Annaparasadam wing requires 48kilos of each vegetable per unit.
The vegetable donors also expressed their immense pleasure for being a part of the massive service of Annaprasadam activity of TTD for the past over one a half decades and readily agreed to supply the vegetables as per TTD’s requirement.
They also assured that they would definitely focus on organic cultivation using desi cow products. As sought by Additional EO, they also agreed up to supply 500 numbers of Bananas each day to be presented to SRIVANI Trust devotees during the time of their darshan.
Later, the Additional EO also felicitated each and every vegetable donor with Prasadam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy on the occasion.

తిరుమల, 2021 సెప్టెంబ‌రు 02: టిటిడి అన్న‌ప్ర‌సాద విభాగానికి దాతలు ప్రతి సంవ‌త్స‌రం కోట్లాది రూపాయల విలువ చేసే కూరగాయలను విరాళంగా అందిస్తున్నార‌ని టిటిడి అదనపు ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి.ధ‌ర్మారెడ్డి ప్ర‌శంసించారు. తిరుమ‌ల‌లోని అన్న‌మ‌య్య భ‌వ‌నంలో గురువారం కూరగాయల దాత‌ల‌తో స‌మావేశం నిర్వ‌హించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా అదనపు ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ కూరగాయల దాతలు అందించే కూర‌గాయ‌ల‌తో ల‌క్ష‌లాది మంది భక్తులకు రుచిక‌ర‌మైన అన్న‌ప్ర‌సాదాలు అందిస్తున్న‌ట్లు తెలిపారు. 2004 నుండి ఎటువంటి అంతరాయం లేకుండా తిరుమలలో మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ అన్నప్రసాదం కాంప్లెక్స్‌కు ప్రతి నెలా లక్షల రూపాయల విలువైన కూరగాయలు విరాళంగా ఇస్తున్నార‌న్నారు. గో ఆధారిత సహజ సేంద్రియ వ్యవసాయాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడంపై దృష్టి పెట్టి, రసాయన రహిత కూరగాయలను పండించాల‌ని దాతలను కోరారు.
శ్రీ‌వారి భ‌క్తుక‌లకు ఉదయం మరియు సాయంత్రం వేర్వేరు మెనూలతో రుచిక‌ర‌మైన భోజ‌నం అందించాలని టిటిడి నిర్ణయించింద‌న్నారు. టిటిడి అన్నప్రసాదం విభాగం కోరిన మెనూ ప్రకారం కూరగాయలను సరఫరా చేయాలని కూరగాయల దాతలను ఆయన కోరారు. ప్రతి రోజు కూరలు, సాంబార్ మరియు రసం తయారు చేయడానికి మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ అన్న‌ప్ర‌సాద భ‌వ‌నంలో రోజుకు 90 యూనిట్లు అవుతుంద‌ని, ఇందులో ఉదయం 56 యూనిట్లు, రాత్రి భోజనంలో 34 యూనిట్‌లతో (ఒక యూనిట్ 250 మంది యాత్రికులకు అన్న‌ప్ర‌సాదాలు వ‌డ్డించ‌డానికి సమానం) తయారు చేయబడుతున్నాయ‌న్నారు. ప్రస్తుత అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా అన్నప్రాదం విభాగంలోని ఒక్కో యూనిట్‌కు 48 కిలోల కూరగాయలు అవసరం అవుతాయ‌ని తెలిపారు.
కూరగాయల దాతలు కూడా గత ఒకటిన్నర దశాబ్దాలుగా టిటిడి అన్నప్రసాదం కార్యకలాపాల్లో భాగమైనందుకు తమ ఆనందాన్ని వ్యక్తం చేశారు. టిటిడి అవసరానికి అనుగుణంగా కూరగాయలను సరఫరా చేయడానికి దాతలు వెంటనే అంగీకరించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా దేశీయ గో ఆధారిత ఉత్పత్తులను ఉపయోగించి సేంద్రియ సాగుపై తాము ఖచ్చితంగా దృష్టి పెడతామని వారు హామీ ఇచ్చారు. అదనపు ఈవో కోరినట్లుగా దర్శన సమయంలో ప్రతి రోజు 500 అరటి పండ్లను శ్రీవాణి ట్రస్ట్ భక్తులకు అందించడానికి వారు అంగీకరించారు.
తిరుమల శ్రీ‌వారి వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలకు ముందు సంవత్సరానికి ఒకసారి కూరగాయల దాతలను సన్మానించ‌డం ఆన‌వాయితీ అన్నారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తమిళనాడు, కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రాల నుండి సమావేశానికి హాజరైన 14 మంది కూరగాయల దాతలకు అదనపు ఈవో హృదయపూర్వక కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా అదనపు ఈవో కూరగాయల దాతలను శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి ప్రసాదంతో సన్మానించారు.
