“FOLLOW GANDHIAN PATH TO LEAD A RIGHTEOUS LIFE”-TTD EO

TIRUPATI, OCTOBER 2: The life of Gandhiji is an encyclopaedia to all of us of how to lead a virtuous way of life speaking only Truth, following Ahmisa and aiming at “Swacha Bharat”, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Addressing the occasion of 147th Birth Anniversary of “Father of Nation”, Mahatma Gandhi organised under the aegis of Welfare Department of TTD in the quadrangle of Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday, the EO said, Gandhiji followed the principles he believed in. He strongly believed and preached wealth without work, knowledge without character, science without humanity will be of no use. He devoted his entire life srpeading non-violence and proved that it is an effective weapon to achieve your goal and hence he became “Mahatma” not only to Indians but to foreigners too. The concept of Swacha Bharat emulated from Gandhian Principle. Even we are adopting the same mechanism in making Tirumala clean and green”, he observed.

In his address, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, Gandhi stood as a role model of simplicity. He championed Satyagraha movement with his principle of non-violence. “That is why even after so many decades he is still remembered and worshipped as “Mahatma” by all”, he added.

CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar and SVETA Director Dr T Anjaneyulu said, the Gandhian principles are immortal and are relevant to every day life of human activity. “If we want to lead a pious life, then follow the Gandhian principles, which are ultimate”, they added.
