FOUNDATION STONE LAID TO BALAJI TEMPLE IN KURUKSHETRA

Kurukshetra, AUGUST 14: Foundation stone has been laid in the historic town of Kurukshetra in Haryana State on Tuesday morning by HE Sri Jagannath Pahadia, Governor of Harayana and Sri Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Harayana towards the construction of Sri Venkateswara Temple at an estimated cost of Rs.30cr.

 

The temple which is coming up in a vast 64,125sq ft area with all amenities including Anna Prasadam Complex, Yaga Shala, Kalyanotsava Mandapam, Vahana Mandapam, Ratha Mandapam, Kalyanakatta, Office, Dormitories, Staff Quarters, Guest Houses, Archaka Quarters etc apart from the main temple complex.

 

Of the Rs.30cr, the main temple alone is expected to cost over Rs.13cr while the rest towards the construction of other amenities.

 

Sri Harmohinder Singh Chatha, Hon’ble Finance Minister, Harayana, Sri Naveen Jindal, MP, Dr Ram Prakash, MP(Rajya Sabha), TTD Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju, TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam, TTD Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Exe Engg Sri Ravi Prabhakar and others took part in this stone laying ceremony on behalf of TTD.
