GOMAHOTSAVAM CELEBRATED ON A GRAND NOTE IN SV GOSHALA
TIRUPATI, JAN 15: On the festival day of Kanuma, the Gomahotsavam has been celebrated with religious fervour in the TTD-run SV Gosamrakshana Shala in Tirupati on Tuesday.
TTD JEO Sri P.Venkatarami Reddy took part in this cattle festival.
Speaking on this occasion the TTD JEO said, according to Hindu mythology Cow is considered as the most sacred living being in the Lord’s creation. Worshipping a cow is considered to be equivalent to worshipping all the three crore deities of Hinduism. “We will be free from all sins if we worship cow. It is a great occasion that today hundreds of people converged here to celebrate the Gomahotsavam.
