GOVERNOR LAUNCHES BIO-DEGRADABLE LADDU BAGS:

 TIRUMALA, JULY 28: The first citizen of Andhra Pradesh, Sri ESL Narasimhan has launched bio-degradable laddu bags near laddu counters in Tirumala, located adjacent to the main temple, prepared by mentally challenged students of Akshaya Kshetram on Thursday.

The Governor appreciated this “specially abled children” for sanctifying their lives in the service of Lord Venkateswara through this service. 

It may be mentioned here that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has decided to replace plastic bags with bio-degradable bags as a measure to save environment. The TTD has allotted Counter No. 34 in the Laddu Complex for sale of these bags.

Along with TTD EO and Joint EO Tirumala, CVSO Sri MK Singh, temple Deputy EO Sri Munirathnam Reddy and other officials were also present.
