GRAND CONCLUSION OF 609TH ANNAMAYYA JAYANTHI

Tirupati 17 May 2017: The week long celebration of 609th Jayanti of Saint Poet Tallapaka Annamaiah from May 11-17 conducted at simultaneously at Tirupati, Tallapaka and Srinivasa Mangapuram came to magnificient finale.

As part of the event Asthanam of Sri KRT was performed at Annamacharya Kala mandiram in Tirupati where in the utsava idols of the deities were brought in a procession from the temple to the accompaniment of Sankeertan by the artists of Annamacharya project.The idols were taken back to temple later.

Earlier Harikatha parayanam was performed by Sri Dharma Rao Bhagavatar of Tirupati on the theme of ‘Lava Kusha’. Later in the evening Smt Burra Aruna and Smt Lalita troupe of Hyderabadprovided Gatra sangeet concert.

Similarly the Sri A Mrutanjaya Sharma troupe of Hyderabad performed Bhakti sangeet at Mahati auditorium.

Among others DyEO projects Smt Sharada, Temple Superintendent Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy, temple inspector Sri Shesha Reddy and TTD officials and large number of devotees particiapted in the grand finale of Annamaiah jayanti Utsav.
