GRAND FINALE OF VASANTHOTSAVAM AT SRI KALYANA VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE

Tirupati, 17 May 2017: The three day Vasantotsavam at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple of Srinivasa Mangapuram came to a grand finale today with the morning rituals of Suprabata, Tomala seva, Koluvu, Panchanga Sravanam, Sahasra Namarchana.

The utsava idols of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy along with Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Anjaneya, Rukmini, and Sri Krishna were brought to the Vasanta Mandapam for Asthanam event.

The Snapana Thirumanjanam will be performed in the afternoon and later Viswaksena aradhana, Punaya Havachanam, Rajoparam will be conducted. Later Naivedyam is provided to deities with Dhoopa deepa and chatra chamara vyajana darpanas. Later as per Vaikhanasa agama traditions, snapanam is performed with curd, milk, honey, coconut water, turmeric, sandal paste.

The vedic pundits will also recite Purusha suktam, Sri Suktam, Nila Suktam, Vishnu Suktam, Dasa Shantimantras, Titreya Unpanishad and Divya Prabandam.

The deities will be adorned with seven types of grand malas including the precious Kuruveru besides roses, jasmine, tulasi, davalam etc.

After Unjal seva in the evening, the utsava dieties will be parades in the four mada streets providing a grand and glittering darshan to devotees.

Smt G Janaki troupe rendered bhakti sangeet program and enthralled the devotees on the grand finale of the Vasantotsavam.

Temple DyEO Sri P Venkaiah, AEO Sri D Dhananjay and other TTD officials and large number of devotees participated in the event.
