GRAND GANGA POOJA AT SRI KAPILESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE _ కపిలతీర్థంలో ఘనంగా గంగపూజ

Tirupati, 28 December 2017: Grand Ganga pooja was performed this morning at the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in which the JEO couple Sri and Smt Pola Bhaskar participated and presented harati etc, and the priests recited Veda mantras.

Speaking to media later JEO Sri Bhaskar said that varuna yaga and other homa rituals would also be performed at all TTD sub temples which in turn is expected to result in adequate rain fullfilling up the reservoirs in the Tirumala and Tirupati region.

Earlier the Homa Kalasam was brought in a procession from Sri Govindaraja temple to Sri Kapileswara temple by the TTD water works department.

TTD Temple DyEO Sri Subramanyam, AEO Sri Shankar Raju and other officials of the water works department participated in the program.

తిరుపతి,28 డిసెంబరు 2017; తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీకపిలేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయం వద్దగల పుష్కరిణిలో గురువారం ఉదయం గంగపూజ ఘనంగా జరిగింది. టిటిడి తిరుపతి జెఈవో శ్రీ పోల భాస్కర్‌ దంపతులు పాల్గొని గంగమ్మకు పుసుపు కుంకుమ, హారతి సమర్పించారు. అర్చకులు వేదమంత్రాలు పఠిస్తూ ప్రత్యేక పూజలు చేశారు.

తిరుపతి జెఈవో శ్రీ పోల భాస్కర్‌ మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ తిరుమలలోని శ్రీవారి ఆలయంతో పాటు స్థానిక ఆలయాల్లో వరుణయాగం తదితర యాగాలు, పలు హోమాలు తరచుగా నిర్వహిస్తున్నామన్నారు. వీటి ఫలితం వర్షాల రూపంలో ప్రజలకు అందుతోందన్నారు. దీనివల్లనే తిరుమల, తిరుపతిలోని జలాశయాలకు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో నీరు చేరిందని తెలిపారు.

అంతకుముందు టిటిడి వాటర్‌ వర్క్స్‌ విభాగం ఆధ్వర్యంలో తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయం నుండి కలశం ఊరేగింపుగా శ్రీ కపిలేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయానికి చేరుకుంది.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆలయ డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీ సుబ్రమణ్యం, ఏఈవో శ్రీ శంకర్‌రాజు, ఇతర వాటర్‌ వర్క్స్‌ విభాగం అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
