GRAND PROCESSION OF MANA MATTI AND MANA NEERU IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala,October 17: The program of Mana Matti- Mana Neeru at Tirumala reached a crescendo today with the holy water and holy soil gathered from all the seven hills of Tirumala shrine was brought to the Srivari Temple this evening for onward journey to Amaravati tomorrow.

The holy water and soil was brought in a grand procession by TTD officials from Vaibhavotsava Mandapam to Srivari Temple under the leadership of the TTD chairman Sri Ch, Krishnamurthy, where it is being kept for blessings of Lord Venkateswara for the smooth construction of the new capital of Amaravati ‘The blessings of Lord Venkateswara are with the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in the construction of global fame capital of Amaravati for the new state ‘ he said.

The TTD chairman said to procure blessing of the Lord Venkateswara for the formation of the new state, all the holy water and holy soil were gathered and kept in the Srivari temple this evening and they will be handed over to the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who will come to Tirumala on Sunday morning.

TTD EO Sri D Sambasu Rao said the holy water and holy soil was lifted from Vaibhavotsava Mandapam where it was kept after collecting them from all over seven hills and also Tirumala. ‘We hope to beget the blessings of the Lord for success of Amaravati capital by placing them at his feet tonight ‘.

The TTD JEO Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju said that since Friday all the TTD senior officials were engaged in collecting the holy soil and holy water from the seven hills of tirumala .Holy water was gathered from Akasha Ganga, Gobargam, Papavinasam,Chakra thirtham, Swami Pushkarini and Bangarubavi at Tirumala and Kapilathirtham in Tirupati. Hoil was gathered from all seven religiously popular hills .

The procession of TTD officials was eye catching, The TTD officials first brought the. holy water from the BangaruBavi inside the Srivari Temple. He was joined by the TTD Chairman, EO and JEO who had carried the holy items from Vaibhavotsam mandapam. All of them then went to Anantalwar Gardens to the accompaniment of vedic chanting and traditional vadya mela where they gathered the holy soil.Then they all came to Srivari temple where they collected holy water from the Swami Pushkarini .There upon they carried all the holy water and holy water inside the Srivari Temple and placed them at the feet of Lord Venkateswara.
