TTD- Dr L SUBRAMANYAM AND SMT P SUSHEELA ENTHRALL AUDIENCE AT BRAHMOTSAVAMS

Tirumala, 17 October 2015: It is a feast of devotional music and hari kathas and divine classical music at Tirumala on the third day of the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams with performers like play back singer and popular carnatic exponent P Sushila and Dr L Subramanyam.

While P Susheela performed at Nada Niranjanam as part of Unjal seva at Tirumala Dr Subramanyam gave a wonderful rendering of violin at Mahati auditorium in Tirupati.

Pilgrims coming to hill shrine were privy to a jugalbandi of devotional music in form of ballads,dances, folk music and discourses at select auditoriums of Mahati, Annamacharya Kalanitekan and Shilparamam atTirupati and Nadaya Niranjanam and Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala and also at the four mada streets.

The cultural bonanza began on Saturday with a harikatha discourse by Chakravarti Ranganathan of Hyderabad at the Nada Niranjanam in front of the Srivari temple. Later in the evening the the Viuzianagaram brothers BVSS Santosh Kumar and BRVS Pavan Kumar rendered melodious Annamacharya keertans followed by Dr Shoba Raju with her wonderful presentation of Annamayya sankeertans.

The euphoric cultural activities were lined up at premier auditoriums of Mahati,Annamayya Kala Kendra and Shilparamam in temple town of Tirupati and the open air amphi theater of Nada Niranjanam and Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala.The devotional and dharmic wings of TTD-Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad,Annamayya Project and Dasasahitya Project have got up the troupes and artisans from all over Telangana,AP and all India states.

At Mahati, Annamayya Kala Mantapam and Shilpakala thoranams in Tirupati, the devotees and residents of Trupati were enthralled by a stellar performace of Dr Godha Narasimha Rao, and Smt Kavana Raj kumar who presented bhakti sangeet. The flute program by Vedapriya troupe of Hyderabad and dance program by Kalpasri Performing Art center of Bangalore at Mahati were the added attractions of the cultural fete got up for the Brahmotsavams.
