GRANDEUR MARKS “CHARIOT FESTIVAL”

Tirupati, 1 April, 2017: Rathotsava Mahotsavam to the Lord Sri Ramachandra Swamy took place in a grand manner here on the eighth-day of annual Sri Kodandarama Swamy annual Brahmotsavam on saturday.

Thousands of devotees participated in this grand event. Rathotsavam started at 7 am. Devotees congregated all along the mada streets through which the procession passed by. The Ratham was decorated with different varieties of flowers, flags and festoons.

Devotees with all the spiritual energy pulled the chariot. Devotees chanting continuously Sri Rama Namam and Govinda Namam, throughout the procession. T.T.D made enough arrangements for the big event for the smooth conduct of the event.

Dyeo Smt Munilakshmi, Superintendent Sri Uma Maheshwar Reddy Temple Inspector Sri Sesha Reddy, Temple Archaka Sri Nandu Swamy, Archakas Sri Kiran Swamy, Tarun Swamy and large number of devotees took part.
