HASSLE-FREE SERVICES IS TOP PRIORITY DURING G-DAY-TTD EO

Tirumala, 6 October 2016: Hassle free supply of food, water, butter milk and Annaprasadam to devotees at galleries and provision of darshan are top priorities on the Garuda seva day, asserted the TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Speaking to media during Kalpavruksha vahanam in mada streets on Thursday the TTD EO said devotees will be allowed to sit in the galleries from 10AM and they would be provided all water and quick meals where ever they are. ‘The Anna prasadam complex will also function ‪from 9.00AM to 2.OOAM ‬(wee hours of October 8) in view of huge crowds that arrive to Tirumala by either on foot or in buses and private vehicles for Garuda Seva.

Meanwhile TTD has made elaborate arrangement for parking all over Tirumala . Keeping in view the safety of devotees the two-wheelers will be banned from 12 midnight of October 6 to ‪8 AM‬ of ‪October 8,‬ he said.

The EO said APSRTC will run buses on a 24×7 basis and run over 3500 trips with a capacity to carry 1.75 lakh devotees to Tirumala ‪on October 7‬ for the crucial and holistic Garuda seva event. The walkers path of Srivari Mettu and Alipiri will also be kept open for 24 hours through out the day. The vigilance, police, Srivari sevaks and TTD staff will coordinate efforts and arrangements to ensure a smooth and incident free conduction of Garuda seva festival.
