HILL TEMPLE CLOSES FOLLOWING LUNAR ECLIPSE_ చంద్రగ్రహణం కారణంగా శ్రీవారి ఆలయం మూత : టిటిడి ఈవో

Tirumala, 7 August 2017: Following lunar eclipse on Monday, the main doors of the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara were closed in a traditional way as per the tenets of agama shastra.

Speaking on this occasion, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said, the temple doors will remain closed from 4:30pm of August 7 till 2am on August 8. “After performing punyahavachanam, suddhi, the temple doors will reopen. The preparation of Annaprasadam was also stalled following Grahanam. So far a little over 39000 pilgrims had darshan of lord before the closure of the temple.

He also said, the new Sarvabhupala Vahanam for annual brahmotsavams of Srivaru is set ready.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Peishkar Sri Ramesh, VGO Sri Raveendra Reddy, Parpathyedar Sri Ramachandra, Temple staff and others took part.

తిరుమల, 2017 ఆగస్టు 07: చంద్రగ్రహణం కారణంగా తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయ ద్వారాన్ని సోమవారం సాయంత్రం 4.30 గంటలకు మూసివేసినట్టు టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ అనిల్‌కుమార్‌ సింఘాల్‌ తెలిపారు. ఆలయం తలుపులు మూసివేసిన అనంతరం ఈవో మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు.

ఆలయం తలుపులు మూసివేసిన సమయానికి ఈ రోజున 39 వేల మందికిపైగా భక్తులు శ్రీవారిని దర్శించుకున్నారని ఈవో తెలిపారు. గ్రహణం సమయంలో అన్నప్రసాద భవనం, కంపార్ట్‌మెంట్లలో అన్నప్రసాద వితరణ ఉండదని తెలియజేశారు. ఆగస్టు 8న ఉదయం 2 గంటలకు ఆలయ తలుపులు తెరిచి శుద్ధి, పుణ్యాహవచనం నిర్వహిస్తారని చెప్పారు. ఉదయం సుప్రభాతం, తోమాలసేవ, కొలువు, అష్టదళ పాదపద్మారాధన అనంతరం ఉదయం 7 గంటలకు సర్వదర్శనం ప్రారంభమవుతుందన్నారు.

నూతన సర్వభూపాల వాహనం తయారీ పూర్తయిందని, రానున్న బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో ఈ వాహనాన్ని వినియోగిస్తామని ఈవో తెలిపారు. అంతకుముందు వాహన మండపంలో ఉంచిన సర్వభూపాల వాహనాన్ని జెఈవో శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజుతో కలిసి ఈవో పరిశీలించారు.

ఈవో వెంట శ్రీవారి ఆలయ డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీ కోదండరామారావు, పేష్కార్‌ శ్రీ రమేష్‌బాబు, ఆలయ ఓఎస్‌డి శ్రీ పాల శేషాద్రి, బొక్కసం ఇన్‌చార్జి శ్రీ గురురాజారావు ఇతర అధికారులు ఉన్నారు.
