SPEAKER OF LOK SABHA OFFERED PRAYERS TO LORD VENKATESWARA

TIRUMALA, 10 April 2015: Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha Smt Sumitra Mahajan offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara during Nijapada Darshanam on Friday morning.

On his arrival at Sri Vari Temple, the priests and officials have welcomed the Lok Sabha Speaker with Temple honors and led to the sanctum sanctorium.

Later she offered prayers to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara, Vakula mata, Ananda Nilayam Vimana Venkateswara, Bhashyakarla Sannidhi and Yoga Narasimha Swamy in the Sanctum Sanctorum. After offering prayers the Vedic Pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam to the Lok Sabha Speaker at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tml JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju offered prasadams, Religious Books, Lords Photo to the Hon’ble Speaker.

Deputy EO Sri Rama Rao, OSD Sri Damodar and other officials were also present.
