“I PRAYED FOR HIS BENIGN BLESSINGS ON ALL OF US”-UNION HM

Tirumala, 11 December 2015: The Honourable Union Minister for Home Affairs Sri Rajnath Singh said that he prayed Lord Balaji to bestow His divine blessings for the prosperity of the entire humanity.

The union Home Minister offered prayers in Tirumala temple on Friday evening. Earlier on his arrival at Mahadwaram he was given warm reception.

Later he was briefed about the importance of Lord Venkateswara, His manifestation and the jewels adorned to him by the priests of the temple inside sanctum sanctorum. Later he was rendered Vedasirvachanam by vedic scholars in Ranganayakula mandapam. After the asirvachanam he was offered teertha prasadams and presented with lamination photo of Lord Venkateswara by TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, Trust board member Sri Bhanu Prakash Reddy and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

Later the honourable minister lauded the efforts of TTD in incident free crowd management and also in providing amenities to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.

State ministers Sri B Gopala Krishna Reddy, Sri Narayana, IG Sri Venu Gopala Krishna, DIG Sri Satyanarayana, CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar, Urban SP Sri Gopinath Jetti were also present.
