IMPORTANT RESOLUTIONS OF TTD TRUST BOARD MEET
TIRMALA, FEBRUARY 14, 2017: The TTD Trust Board under the Chairmanship of Dr Ch Krishnamurthy on Tuesday has taken some important resolutions during the board meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala.
The board has approved for many developmental works. Some excerpts of the board meeting:
TEMPLE RELATED:
> The board has approved towards the preparation of New Sahasranama Kasula Mala to Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala at Rs.11crores.
> The M/S Nirmal Sethia Foundation of London has agreed to pay Rs.12crores to construct the temple of Lord at Kurukshetra in Haryana.
> Construction of a massive Sarva Darshanam Complex for the sarva darshan pilgrims at Tirumala at a cost of Rs.5crores.
➢ Rs.3.53crores sanctioned to construct PAC at Sri Sita
Ramachandra Swamy devasthanam near Bhadhrachalam in Khammam district.
> Construction of Kalyana Mandapam at Chennur village of Gudur mandal in Nellore district at Rs.1.25cr. Towards the renovation of Sri Chennakesava Swamy temple in the same village at Rs.21.60 lakhs.
➢ Sanction of Rs.21.15lakhs towards the renovation of Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple at Bandameedipalle in Rapthadu mandal of Anantapur district.
➢ Sanction of Rs.3.80 lakhs towards gold malam works of Makaratoranam, Golden Tiruchi in Lord Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy at Appalayagunta.
MARKETING WORKS:
Procurement of various ingredients including :
➢ 1.25 lakh kilos of Cashewnuts for a period of two months at a cost of Rs.10crores
➢39480 kilos of cardomom for four months at a cost of Rs.5.78crores with each kilo at Rs.1452.
➢ 3.37lakh kilos of sunflower oil for a period of six months at Rs.2.70crores
➢ 2.2crore paper plates at Rs.1.54crores
➢ 2 lakh kilos of dry grapes at Rs.2.27crores
➢ 2.57 lakh kilos of sugar candy for a period of six months at Rs.1.07crores
➢ TTD made a revenue of Rs.33.13cr during the e-auction of human hair in the month of December 2016
OTHERS:
➢ Replacing the LED bulbs, street lights fittings etc. in the place of existing fixtures in all the chowltries and rest houses in Tirumala at Rs.4.5crores.
> Room time extended for three more years to Margadarshi Private Limited in Sri Devi Complex
> Approved to accept the donation of site and three storied building offered by Tirupati based donor Sri Basava Punnaiah(only after his demise). Henceforth it has been ordered to formulate specific guidelines while accepting such mode of donations
