Tirumala, October 13, 2026: Traditional Indian classical and folk dances captivated devotees during the Hamsa Vahana Seva on the second day of the Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams in Tirumala on Tuesday evening.
Ahead of the vahana procession, Jeeyar Swamijis chanted the Nalayira Divya Prabandham, followed by hundreds of Vaishnavas. The chanting of Govinda Nama, accompanied by traditional music and colourful dance performances, added to the spiritual atmosphere.
Classical and Folk Dances Attract Devotees
A total of 443 artists from 16 cultural troupes representing 10 states, including Andhra Pradesh, showcased their talent. Performances included Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Bihar’s Chhath Puja dance, Maharashtra’s Yog Chap, Dolu performances, Karnataka’s Patkunitha, Jammu and Kashmir’s Dogri dance, Rajasthan’s Chakri dance, Telangana’s Geetha Mahotsavam dance drama and Kolatam.
The rhythmic beats, colourful traditional costumes and graceful movements of the artists showcased India’s rich cultural heritage and added vibrancy to the four Mada streets of Tirumala.

TTD’s cultural programmes during the Brahmotsavams promote devotion while showcasing the diverse artistic traditions of India. The performances created a festive and spiritually uplifting atmosphere for devotees witnessing the sacred vahana procession.

తిరుమల, 2026 అక్టోబరు 13: తిరుమల శ్రీవారి నవరాత్రి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో రెండో రోజైన మంగళవారం సాయంత్రం నిర్వహించిన హంస వాహన సేవలో భారతీయ శాస్త్రీయ, జానపద కళారూపాలు భక్తులను మంత్రముగ్ధులను చేశాయి. పది రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన కళాకారులు ప్రదర్శించిన వైవిధ్యభరిత నృత్యాలు, డోగ్రీ, చక్రి, ఛాత్ పూజ వంటి విశిష్ట కళారూపాలు తిరుమాడ వీధుల్లో సాంస్కృతిక వైభవాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించాయి.
శ్రీవారి వాహన సేవకు ముందు జీయర్ స్వాములు నాలాయిర దివ్యప్రబంధాన్ని గానం చేస్తూ ముందుకు సాగగా, వందలాది మంది వైష్ణవులు అనుసరించారు. మరోవైపు మార్మోగిన గోవింద నామస్మరణలు, మేళతాళాలు, కళాకారుల నృత్య విన్యాసాలు తిరుమలలో భక్తిభావాన్ని మరింతగా పెంపొందించాయి.
శాస్త్రీయ, జానపద నృత్యాలతో కనువిందు
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌తో పాటు పది రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన 16 కళాబృందాల్లోని 443 మంది కళాకారులు తమ ప్రతిభా ప్రదర్శనలతో భక్తులను అలరించారు. భరతనాట్యం, కూచిపూడి, బీహార్ ఛాత్ పూజ నృత్యం, మహారాష్ట్ర యోగ్ చాప్, డోలు విన్యాసాలు, కర్ణాటక పటకునిత, జమ్మూ–కాశ్మీర్ డోగ్రీ నృత్యం, రాజస్థాన్ చక్రి నృత్యం, తెలంగాణ గీతా మహోత్సవ నృత్యరూపకం, కోలాటం తదితర కళారూపాలు ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచాయి.
మృదంగ నాదాలు.. గజ్జెల సవ్వడులు.. మేళతాళాల హోరు.. లయబద్ధమైన నృత్య విన్యాసాలతో తిరుమాడ వీధులు కళాసౌరభాన్ని సంతరించుకున్నాయి. సంప్రదాయ వస్త్రధారణలు, ఆకట్టుకునే హస్తముద్రలు, అద్భుతమైన అంగవిన్యాసాలు భారతీయ సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాల గొప్పతనాన్ని చాటిచెప్పాయి.

శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా టీటీడీ నిర్వహిస్తున్న ఈ సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు భక్తుల్లో ఆధ్యాత్మిక భావనను పెంపొందించడంతోపాటు దేశంలోని భిన్న ప్రాంతాల కళా సంపదను పరిచయం చేస్తున్నాయి. వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల సంప్రదాయ కళారూపాలు శ్రీవారి సన్నిధిలో కొలువుదీరడంతో తిరుమలలో భక్తి పరిమళాలతో పాటు భారతీయ కళా వైభవం వెల్లివిరిసింది.
