“ISCA SHOULD BE ORGANISED AS A MEMORABLE EVENT”-TIRUPATI JEO

Tirupati, 29 December 2016: The prestigious 104th Indian Science Congress which is scheduled to take place in Tirupati from January 3-7, should be organised as a memorable event in the history of temple city and TTD will extend necessary support to SVU for this major convention, said the nodal officer of ISCA and Tirupati JEO of TTD Sri P Bhaskar.

The Jeo organised a meeting with all the principals, faculty of TTD as well SVU institutions in SVETA on Thursday evening. In this meeting JEO directed the participants to make all out arrangements leaving no stone unturned. “SVU is hosting the national convention in the front end and we will give required back end support. But with our joint efforts, this should become the ultimate event”, he asserted.

Later he instructed the Convenor from SVU Smt Vijayalakshmi to pinpoint every activity without any confusion. “The deployment of staffs should be in three shifts in the accommodation allotment areas. A faculty and three students should be allotted for each sector in each shift with first shift between 5am to 1pm, 1pm to 9pm and 9pm to 5am for the ease of management”, he added.

Meanwhile TTD allotted its colleges for accommodation which have been classified into three zones, which are further sub-classified as nine sectors consisting 14 blocks with taking total number of rooms to 1285 to accommodate delegates.

SEs Sri Sri Ramulu, Sri Ramesh Reddy, Deputy EO Education wing of TTD Smt Snehalatha, over 150 faculty from various educational institutions of TTD and SVU, engineers of TTD were also present.
