TIRUMALA, SEPT 15: With the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara are fast approaching, the TTD Joint Executive Officer of Tirumala Sri K.S. Srinivasa Raju on Sunday carried out marathon inspections in the four mada streets atop the temple town.

Accompanied by top officials including Chief Cop of TTD Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, Tirupati Urban SP Sri Rajasekhar Babu, Sri Raju inspected the arrangements being made at the waiting galleries in the four mada streets for the visiting devotees.

After the two-hour long inspection, speaking to media persons, the JEO said, the arrangements are on a spree as less than 20 days are left for the annual mega religious event. “We have extended the waiting galleries so that they will accommodate more number of pilgrims during the procession of various vahanams. We have taken up enough security measures with the co-operation of Tirupati police, especially during the Garuda Seva day which falls on the fifth day. Today we have inspected the barricading, enter, exit gates and other safety measures to see that pilgrims are not put to any sort of inconvenience. All the arrangements will be completed soon and there will be a trial run of new Swarna Ratham either on 25th or 30th of this month”, he added.

Temple Deputy EO Sri C Ramana, SE II Sri Ramesh Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, ASP Sri Uma Maheswara Sharma, Health Officer Sri Venkatramana and other TTD and Police officials were also present.

తిరుమల, 15 సెప్టెంబరు 2013 : శ్రీవారి వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు అక్టోబరు 5 వ తారీఖు నుండి 13వ తారీఖు వరకు జరుగనున్న నేపథ్యంలో తిరుమలలో విస్తృతంగా జరుగుతున్న వివిధ ఏర్పాట్లను ఆదివారం సాయంత్రం తిరుమల జె.ఇ.ఓ శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌. శ్రీనివాసరాజు, సి.వి.ఎస్‌. శ్రీ జి.వి.జి అశోక్‌కుమార్‌ మరియు తిరుపతి అర్బన్‌ ఎస్‌.పి. శ్రీ రాజశేఖర్‌ బాబులతో కూడి నాలుగు మాడ వీధులలో పర్యటించారు.

అనంతరం తనను కలసిన మీడియాతో జె.ఇ.ఓ మాట్లాడుతూ జరుగుతున్న ఏర్పాట్లను గూర్చి వివరించారు. ముఖ్యంగా నవాహ్నికంగా సాగే బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల సమయంలో అతి ముఖ్యమైన ఐదవ నాడు గరుడ సేవను పురస్కరించుకొని తిరుమలకు విచ్చేసే భక్తజన సందోహాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని తిరుమాడ వీధుల్లోని గ్యాలరీలను విస్తరించడం జరిగిందన్నారు. అదే విధంగా గ్యాలరీలను ఏ విధంగా భక్తులకు ఎటువంటి అసౌకర్యం కలుగకుండా అమర్చాలో, వాహన సేవ అయిన తరువాత ఏ విధంగా ఎటువంటి అవాంఛనీయ సంఘటలను జరుగకుండా సురక్షితంగా బయటకు పంపాలో ఆ మార్గాలను తణిఖీ చేశామన్నారు.

ఇక నూతన స్వర్ణరథం ఇప్పటికే పూర్తి కావచ్చిందని, దానికి సంబంధించిన వివిధ విడి భాగాల కూర్పు సోమవారంనాడు జరుగుతుందన్నారు. ఈ నెల 25 లేక 30వ తారీఖున నూతన స్వర్ణరథాన్ని తిరుమాడ వీధుల్లో ప్రయోగత్మకంగా ఊరేగిస్తామన్నారు. అయితే ఈ స్వర్ణరథానికి శాస్రోక్తంగా పూజలను మాత్రం అక్టోబరు 10వ తారీఖున జరిగే స్వర్ణరథం ఊరేగింపుకు రెండు గంటల మునుపు నిర్వహించడం జరుగుతుందన్నారు. ఎప్పటిలాగే ఈ ఏడాది కూడా భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని ఏడాదికి ఒకసారి జరిగే శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలను విజయవంతం చేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

దాదాపు రెండు గంటల పాటు సాగిన అధికారుల తణిఖీలో ఎస్‌.ఇ.2 శ్రీరమేశ్‌ రెడ్డి, అదనపు సి.వి.ఎస్‌.ఓ శ్రీ శివకుమార్‌ రెడ్డి, ఆలయ డిప్యూటి ఇ.ఓ. శ్రీ చిన్నంగారి రమణ, అదనపు ఎస్‌.పి. శ్రీ ఉమామహేశ్వరశర్మ, తిరుమల డి.ఎస్‌.పి. శ్రీ నంజుండప్ప, ఇతర తి.తి.దే అధికారులు మరియు పోలీసు అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
