JEO INSPECTS Rs.300 ADVANCE BOOKING QUEUE LINE

Tirumala, 17 October, 14: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Friday inspected the Rs.300 advance booking queue lines near TBC area.

In this inspection which lasted for over three hours, the JEO personally guided the pilgrims on the importance of traditional dress imposed by TTD. Later he instructed the officials concerned to make continuous announcements in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and English and create awareness on the traditional dress code as well on the reporting time for the sake of the pilgrims. He also instructed to display sign boards with instructions in all five languages near the darshan queue lines for the awareness of the pilgrims.

“Being the biggest Hindu Religious Organisations and the custodian of Hindu Sanatana Dharma,TTD has introduced traditional dress code for Rs.50 and Rs.300 advance booking ticket holders and we have also printed the guidelines on the ticket. But most of them are not going through the guidelines and reporting much earlier than the scheduled time of darshan. So we have decided to give wide range of publicity through mike announcements and display boards”, he added.

Later he instructed the vigilance officials to strictly observe dress code and reporting time of these sections of pilgrims without fail.
