TTD MULLS “SPIRITUAL THEATERS” TO ENTHRALL PILGRIMS

TIRUMALA, OCT.17: As a part of its pro-pilgrim gesture, the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has come out with yet another innovative concept of “Spiritual Theaters” to enthrall and enlighten the pilgrims on “Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Cult”.

A model theater has been designed in the Vaikuntham Queue Complex I which was inspected by TTD EO Sri MG Gopal along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Friday.

After inspecting the theater, TTD EO appreciated the concept and instructed the officials to come out with an auspicious day to inaugurate the “Spiritual Theater”. He directed the officials concerned to design spiritual programmes of high quality and also use the latest advanced technology at the best possible.

Later Tirumala JEO said, Sri Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy has come forward with largess to bear the expenditure of the theater which was built at a cost of Rs.80lakhs. “With the instructions of Honourable AP CM Sri Chandrababu Naidu, under the supervision of TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, TTD has taken up several pro-pilgrim measures in the last couple of months to provide convenient darshan to pilgrims. ‘”The three-stepped queue, advance booking of Rs.300 darshan are a part of it. Now to enthrall as well to enlighten pilgrims on Venkateswara Vaibhavam, we have decided to set up spiritual theaters in waiting compartments of pilgrims. Initially we have set up the multiplex theater with state-of-art technology, hi-fi sound system and Blue Ray technology in 25th Compartment in VQC I and it will be launched on an auspicious day soon. The same concept will be developed in all the compartments in future since we are planning time bound darshan even for Divya Darshan and Sarva Darshan pilgrims also”, he maintained.
